Terms of Use

Effective October 8, 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Stitchsong app. Your use is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Where these terms add to the EULA, both apply.

1. Stitchsong Pro subscriptions

Stitchsong Pro is offered as an auto-renewing weekly or yearly subscription. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
The yearly plan may include a free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

2. Community rules

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. When you post, you agree not to share anything that is hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, illegal, spam, or that infringes someone else's rights — including copying paid patterns you don't own.

Every post and comment can be reported, and you can block users. Content reported by several people is hidden automatically and reviewed within 24 hours.
We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, without notice.
You keep ownership of what you post. You give Stitchsong a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display it inside the app for as long as it's posted.

3. AI features

AI help, stitch identification and photo-to-pattern suggestions are generated automatically and can be wrong. Check counts and measurements before you start a project. Don't submit photos of people or private information.

4. Patterns and your files

Generated patterns are for your personal use. PDFs and patterns you import remain yours or their designers'; make sure you have the right to use them. Ravelry content is subject to Ravelry's terms.

5. Content and availability

Lessons, narration, illustrations and the app itself are owned by Stitchsong and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. We may add, change or remove features and content.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for wasted materials or time. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
